Based on Law No. (1) for the year 2012 was the establishment of Public Works and Services Department has begun its work on May 23, 2012 m and the department works on implementation of projects, government buildings and supervision of road maintenance and cleanliness of the emirate and the organization to deal with the state and federal local departments and work to minimize the streets violation occupancy process the laws of the emirate.
The main tasks of the department are:
1. Keep the general appearance of the emirate to create a waste-free clean environment.
2. overseeing the design and implementation of agricultural projects that reflect the level of welfare in the emirate.
3. coordination with the relevant authorities to provide safety for road users.
